I began with heat embossing my stamped image on pink vellum. I loved the
sequin trim I got from Hobby Lobby, but couldn't work it in on the card
as an accent...so I made a frame from it! When there's a will...I cut
the lily from white paper and used pan pastels to color and copics to
put the freckles on the petals. I learned this from a great tutorial on
Kittie C's blog here http://www.kittiekraft.com/2014/05/m...-tutorial.html
I used hot glue on the flower, greenery and tulle. I used the gorgeous
back of this girl's wedding dress at the perfect palette here http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c3...2014/gold2.png
I love this, Carmen! All the sequins around the frame, the embossing, the tulle and the lily are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteJust GORGEOUS !! I love vellum, and the embossing on the pink is beautiful. (Gotta try that on coloured vellum). All your embellishments are perfect!!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me that my bona fide artist sister-in-law gave me two wood-framed mirrors that I'm supposed to work my 'stamping magic' on! Yours is beautiful! Thanks for the inspiration!
